Recipe Scaler | Cook EZ

Paste an ingredient list, choose a scale factor, and get converted quantities for a different serving count.

What gets scaled

Each line is scanned for a leading number, including decimals and simple fractions such as 1/2 or 1 1/2. That quantity is multiplied by new servings divided by original servings.

Words after the number stay as they are. A pinch, a splash, or 'to taste' is not a number, so those lines are copied unchanged.

Times, oven temperatures, and pan size do not scale with servings. Check doneness the way the original recipe says.

Scaling changes quantities, not cook time. Salt, spice, and leaveners often need a tasting pass after the math.
